Powerball Tournaments hits a homerun every tournament by putting thousands of dollars back into our teams' pockets!
Let's face it, tournament baseball is expensive. Who are we kidding? From team monthly dues, tournament dues, uniforms, equipment, and let's not forget travel expenses, families make a major committment to participate in the sport. Teams are now faced with higher expenses for field space to practice, while gas prices make teams decisions to travel to tournaments out of town more difficult.
If you're going to play ball anyway, why not have a shot at taking home some cash along with that championship trophy?!

Powerball 101
Here's the Cliff's Notes version of how this works*:
- Teams in 9U-12U (the "Junior Tier") compete for one (1) cash prize, the size of which depends on the number of teams participating in the tier. The "Senior Tier" (13U-16U) also compete for a separate prize.
- The single team in the Junior Tier and the single team in the Senior Tier with the best average run differential number at the end of the tournament wins the cash prize. Ties will be decided first by best winning percentage, then head-to-head record for the tournament (if applicable), then by lowest runs allowed, then by most runs scored.
* See complete rules to thoroughly understand how we differ from other hosts and how the prizes will grow in size.

Why Cash Prizes?
We decided to award cash prizes as a way of giving teams some of their hard-earned money back! Without charging more than our competitors, while still playing in many of the same terrific venues, Powerball Tournaments is simply willing to make less money and see about 40% of our tournament profits go back into the pockets of our teams.
